The Position

• Reporting into the design team, you will work researching and designing for your product group.
• You will need to be organized, agile and flexible.The projects are diverse; including seasonal RTW collections, celebrity partnerships, designer/brand collaborations and fashion shows
• The right candidate needs to have great taste, drive, confidence and passion for design
• A strong understanding of the premium market segment is essential, with an intuitive sense of how to implement these trends into the collection while making sure the brand DNA is present in every garment

Key Responsibilities

• Research and design supporting your product area
• Source and present creative research to be used as input to the collection concepts and design (e.g style outs, samples, mock-ups, trims)
• Complete detailed tech packs for handover to product development and suppliers
• Creation of decks and digital files for intercompany presentation
• Uploading information to and following PLM (product lifecycle management system) from beginning to end
• Attendance and participation at proto reviews, costing meetings and merchandising meetings throughout the critical path
• Working to the Divisional Calendar to meet deadlines
• Working closely and communicating daily on challenges and changes that arise during the development of product
• Ensure all styles are to the highest possible standard and help find solutions to any problems that may come up during the fitting or proto process
• Clear visual and verbal presentation skills; organization preparation throughout collection key meetings, take notes, make updates and revisions based on feedback/developments
• A hardworking, organized team player, that's a great communicator is essential

The Ideal Candidate

• A degree from an BA/MA/alternative fashion design program
• Experience: 2-5 years' experience
• Skills: knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Some experience using PLM systems or understanding their concept. Willing to learn
• Understanding of 3D Design (eg Browzwear/ Clo3D), good level of digital software aptitude and/or willing to learn
• High level of attention to detail needed
• Strong communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English are preferred as it is the company operational language
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• A fast and organized personality to cope with the fast pace of seasons
• Open communicator and able to make connections throughout the whole PVH family
