About THE ROLE:

As the Merchandise Planner you will join the NL team. You will be responsible for the pre-season planning and in-season management and work closely with buying team to prepare a coherent and commercially successful product assortment by collating and analyzing data on NL Own & Operated store portfolio's performance.

You will be responsible for:

Pre-season Planning:
  • Forecast seasonal financial budgets
  • Manage, implement and maintain seasonal ranges in accordance with business process detailed range plan
  • Plans and delivers higher ASP, increased productivity rates, improved option efficiencies and synergies across all channels
  • Maintain and own key strategic analysis including but not exclusively, option count productivity, Divisional and PG mix, Profitability, Buy depths, Density performance

In season management/trading:
  • Key stakeholder in weekly trade decisions
  • Monitor performance vs plan at Div / PG.
  • Highlighting performance opportunities / risks and driving corrective actions
  • Ensure optimal stock management to achieve Retail Net Sales, GM and End Stock targets.

Analysis:
  • Financial trends, consumer behavior (e.g. segmentations, demographics and market share)
  • Product trends and competitors as well as a showing key understanding of the Fashion retail landscape to determine strategic insights and opportunities to constantly evolve seasonal plans.

Requirements:
  • You will already be working at a Planner or Senior Planner level
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Cross-cultural skills and flexible approach
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills
  • You'll be a commercially astute and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels
  • Ability to work well with change, with the ability to adapt and work at pace
  • Highly Commercial and analytical skills
  • Excellent command of English language - verbal and written
