Allocator EMEA

 

Role Purpose:

Responsible for execution of allocation strategy, overseeing replenishment levels, identifying stock and sales opportunities, whilst being the main liaison between stores and the corporate office. Monitoring option performance and and producing weekly/Monthly reports and providing recommendations.

Scope: while supporting the Merchandise manager and working closely with wider Buying and Merchandise  team based in London.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Allocation & In Season Management:

 

  • Execute the allocations strategy  in partnership with Merchandising and the store(s), managing initial allocations and in-season replenishment of goods to stores, monitor and adjust replenishment parameters to create optimal stock level across all channels.
  • Analyse the S/T and stock levels in details per shops/channels to ensure profitability and reach the end-of-season residual target and margin target.
  • Monitor option performance at the store/option level and recommend additional buys, markdowns based off expected sales forecasts to the Buying/Planning team to keep and maintain the highest AUR and margin aligned with the global strategy.
  • Monitor order status and shipping performance, keeping track with monthly delivery drops and flagging any potential delays in the processing of goods to the stores. Finding solutions to rebalance all goods if necessary to ensure the best options for our S/T and AUR aligned with the global strategy.
  • Produce Weekly stock reports and Seasonal analysis at store/option to aid future buy decisions.

Communication:

  • Serve as the main contact person between the stores and corporate office regarding stock requests/callouts as well as the main contact person for internal questions/concerns regarding shipments/warehouse stocks
  • Create, maintain and distribute weekly allocation/shipping status and track all orders

Team support:

  • Assist the Merchandising team with seasonal and annual forecasts based on historical performance and assortment plans.
  • Assist the Merchandising team with buying activities creating commercially successful product assortment & product reports
  • Be the key user and trainer for the D365 project

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Retail and Supply experience advantageous
  • Experienced with merchandise management systems & processes
  • Communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Analytical skills and detailed oriented : rigorous and precise.
  • Highly motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to prioritize a demanding, workload and time manage effectively
  • Excellent command of English language - verbal and written
  • PC literate with excellent knowledge of Excel including setting up spreadsheets, Pivot tables, formulas, etc.
  • An European language would be advantageous
