The Role

Studio Nicholson is looking for an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the day to day operations of the 2 existing stores and oversee future openings.  This role will ensure the smooth running of operations to maximise sales, minimise costs and develop the team.

Responsibilities

  • Organise all store operations and allocate responsibilities to the store teams
  • Ensure sales targets and KPI’s are met
  • Guide team towards maximum performance with ongoing coaching and training
  • Oversee and guide store team towards maximum performance
  • Monitor stock levels working with operations and merchandising teams on retail buy and replenishment
  • Plan and oversee in-store events and client building
  • Keep up to date with market trends to determine the needs for improvements in the stores
  • Drive Visual Merchandising guidelines and implementation
  • Ensure store rotas are in place and manage payroll budget
  • Lead the recruitment process
  • Ensure all health & safety guidelines and requirements are met

Requirements

  • Proven experience at Store Manager level
  • Knowledge of retail management best practice
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership skills

  • A confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills and a real 'can do' attitude
