Position Summary:

The Merchandising Business Analyst will provide business critical insights using analytics and big data across channels, markets, and consumers. They ensure cross functional alignment of the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives

They will conduct data-oriented analysis, develop metrics, synthesize information, and present insights to support strategic decisions as well as design and implement methodologies, dashboards, and presentations, all while partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate actionable insights through development of metrics, dashboards, and deep dive analyses
  • Providing executive level insights and report to senior leadership to support business decision making
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools to drive the goal to have the right product in the right place at the right time with the right price
  • Monitor sales performance through regular business analysis; propose and initiate actions plans to optimize sales potential and season sell-through %
  • Review market trends and identify business opportunities across KPIs
  • Support the annual strategic planning process
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Merchandising, Buying & Planning and Finance

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Structured, analytical, and assertive mindset
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Understanding of KPIs that achieve success within a retail organisation
  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively to all levels of stakeholders
  • Understanding and passion for the fashion/luxury industry is a big plus
