Senior Creative Pattern Cutter

STINE GOYA is recruiting a creative Senior Pattern Cutter Pattern with experience to join our development and production team at our Studio in the center of Copenhagen 🇩🇰

The Senior Pattern Cutter for women’s  RTW will be supporting all divisions on the pattern and technical development across all categories.  Within a fast paced working environment, you will focus on providing high quality product and best in class fit, beautiful construction and craftsmanship.

You will develop product within an end to end development process from concept to production - creating pattern for new seasons as well as seeking constant improvement of our previous silhouettes. Working closely with our suppliers  within the process - reviewing & developing prototype samples, signing off production fit samples, providing the necessary graded spec and production comments.

You will be team spirited and will work closely within the Product Development, Design and Production department– ensuring to have a close connection to design direction and all market requirement.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Pattern Creation for women’s woven, jersey, outerwear, tailoring,  swimwear as well as elevated dresses
• Technical Development – from measuring to prototype through to production fit and comments
• Maintain all information on system, product file and future PLM
• Close Collaboration with Design, PD as well as supply chain
• Establish key relationship to supply chain

The Ideal Candidate should possess:

• Minimum 4 to 5 years pattern cutting  experience in a womenswear fashion label
• In depth knowledge of Gerber as well as experience with 3D Gerber or CLO.
• A Bachelor/Master’s degree in Pattern Cutting or Technical Development
• Able to translate the brand DNA and aesthetic into high quality of fit and product
• A flexible candidate, able to work within tight deadline schedule who thrive into a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive conversations with suppliers, Design and Development/Production and stakeholders
