Role Purpose:

To provide direction on the development of the ecommerce site roadmap, whilst being hands-on in the delivery of site updates and new feature role outs.  You will ensure there are robust plans in place that are actionable and flexible.

You will be working within a cross-functional team allowing you to drive change across our brand sites. All of this will be achieved against KPIs that you set and manage, using a test and learn approach to ensure continued improvements


Scope: You will have full ownership of the end-to-end creation of new site update and features; you are working on.  Everything from initial conversations with stakeholders to delivery, focusing on discovery, defining objectives, outlining research plans, requirements building, testing, launch and reporting of successes. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prioritize and build on the site product roadmap to drive improved customer engagement and conversion, i.e., interactive sizing tools, enhanced delivery options, personalized content.
  • Managed the long-term product roadmap. Continually updating and evolving to ensure business priorities are met. 
  • Manage the communication of the product roadmap and launches across the business to various stakeholders: marketing, trade, technical team, customer support etc.
  • Working with the technical development and creative teams to define projects, build cross functional teams and deliver continuous improvement across the customer experience on site through new features and UX improvements   
  • Partner with analytics manager quantitative/qualitative research that provides actionable insights to influence product roadmap priorities
  • Work with the technical development team to turn new initiatives into tasks
  • Build new feature requirements documents for use by the technical development team
  • Understand and problem solve key customer and business issues, rigorously testing various solutions and approaches to find the best approach
  • Effectively influence and communicate with both technical and business stakeholders adapting your style to best engage your audience
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvements across all La Perla sites through industry and competitor research and analysis
  • Collaborate and work with the CRM, Marketing, and customer service teams to identify areas of improvement for the customer experience and turn these insights into actionable site updates
  • Continuously review and the CX of the sites looking for ways to improve the UX and ensure that we are meeting the highest accessibility standards.  

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of e-commerce experience. Preferably in a fashion or beauty
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: ability to work quickly, efficiently, and strategically with a wide range of internal departments
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • A thorough digital understanding, especially as it pertains to e-commerce and online merchandising, current e-commerce best practices and technological capabilities.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; resourceful, detail-oriented, with the with the ability to multitask and balance competing priorities
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Azure Devops tools and website content management systems highly preferable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required to communicate with various stakeholders, customers, and vendors
  • Fluent English, Fluent Italian beneficial but not essential
