THE ROLE & THE TEAM
Our partnership with brands is deeply rooted in our DNA and one of Zalando's success factors.

The Lead Strategic Partner Manager is responsible for co-creating and implementing strategic growth plans for one of our most strategic partnerships, by leveraging the full spectrum of the Zalando Platform and acting as the main point of contact to the partner.

In this role you will own the holistic strategy with one of Zalando's most important brand partners (e.g. PVH, Inditex, Nike, adidas, VF, Levi's, and similar), providing commercial expertise and advice with the goal to drive sustainable, qualitative, and mutual commercial growth, while bringing Zalando's best to the partner relationship.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Strategy: Own and guide teams to execute strategic plans with the partner and coordinate initiatives across relevant functions within and beyond Category Management
  • Digital Transformation: Consult key partners in adapting to Zalando Platform vision and supervise the project landscape to create mutual growth.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ensure transparency across stakeholders to facilitate project progress. Maintain a strong network within the partners' C-suite.
  • Negotiations: Own the partner P&L and set annual terms and conditions, ensuring a positive and commercially viable partnership.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • You gained 8+ years of relevant work experience in consumer-oriented commercial, partner-facing, or highly analytical roles. E-commerce industry required, fashion e-commerce a plus.
  • You are a strategic commercial thinker with impressive analytical skills and critical mindset. You have strong technical skills in Microsoft / Google Suite
  • You have a strong understanding of the P&L lines in an e-commerce - retailing environment, and empathy for the needs of a consumer brand
  • You have outstanding communication skills and can drive projects with different teams across the organization, including senior management stakeholders
