The Cast is looking for an experienced Account Director to join the growing team in London. The Account Director will take a lead role in the PR division of the agency, working across fashion and retail clients as well as new business pitches. The candidate will require exceptional organisational and project management skills, as they will be working across large scale, multi-channel campaigns. Ideally, the candidate will have experience project managing integrated campaigns covering earned media, events, programming and influencers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day to day client management, including leading client meetings and calls
  • Understanding client business objectives and crafting PR strategies that reflect them
  • Leading client campaigns from planning to execution
  • Creating and managing critical path timelines for client projects 
  • Maintaining and building high level media relationships 
  • Managing the assigned campaign teams
  • Management and development of junior team members
  • Creating and delivering effective and innovative client PR strategies
  • Assisting with new business pitches
  • Working closely with different agency divisions and managing to ensure a holistic and seamless approach to delivering client campaigns 
  • Taking an active interest in news and trends, monitoring and sharing these internally and with clients when relevant 

EXPERIENCE / ATTRIBUTES

  • At least 6 - 7 years working in PR
  • Extensive and wide knowledge of the fashion and lifestyle industries
  • Has conceived and executed PR strategies for clients
  • Strong high level media contacts
  • The ability to project manage large scale PR campaigns 
  • Developed stakeholder management skills
  • An interest in culture, arts and fashion
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level attention to detail and organisation skills
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritise 
  • The ability to present strategy and ideas internally and to clients
