What you'll be doing

As the Head of Customer Analytics, you work for the Customer Success team in Vestiaire Collective's Business organization, which provides data and insights to support customer-first decisions across the company. You will be the closest link to our customers: You will dig into complex data sets to build a deep understanding of our customers characteristics and drive well-informed decision-making with our most senior leaders in the organization. You explore new fields of data linked to the two-sided C2C marketplace business model and tackle exciting challenges, such as creating a buyer & seller segmentation, participating in building churn score, next best action (deposit, sale, purchase, ...).

You are a doer personality, able to roll up your sleeves and query data yourself if needed, without losing sight of the big picture. You are impact-driven and familiar with e-commerce: You ideally bring some knowledge on how to leverage data to improve customer journey and experience (e.g. previous experience in Customer Centricity, CRM analytics, Business Intelligence or Marketing performance).

As a Manager, you build and drive your team to bring the best possible results, collaborate with other functions. You recruit the best profiles and help them grow their data and business skills.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide thought leadership and lead implementation in customer analytics for the Customer Success team
  • Design and build an actionable customer-segmentation that can be used across the company to grow our customer knowledge and reach key business goals, such as customer activation, customer retention, marketing investments optimization
  • Deliver and present actionable customer insights, identify new strategic opportunities and recommend actions. Become a trusted advisor to your stakeholders and senior management (C-levels, CEO)
  • Work with other data functions within the organization (analysts, data scientists, engineers, ...) to untap new sources of data and insights

Who you are
  • BA/BS degree or in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science or similar or equivalent practical experience is required. MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of business experience using analytics to drive business results - ideally with a significant experience in Customer and / or eCommerce analytics area
  • Expertise on data science oriented projects, including classification, regression, clustering (Deep learning knowledge is a plus); Ability to identify best model approach for each use case to deliver business impact
  • Advanced skills in BI and data visualization tools (Tableau)
  • Skills in data methodologies and technologies (R, Python, SQL) is a plus
  • Strong communicator to challenge the status quo, tell data stories, maximize decision impact of your results. Ability to work well with commercial and tech profiles alike.
  • Self-starter, fast learner, impact driven, comfortable working in English (French is a plus)
  • Understanding of fashion and fashion customers
