CUSTOMER ANALYTICS INTERN

We are looking for an undergraduate to join our   Data & Insights   Team   for an exciting   10 week internship starting summer of 2022 as a Customer Analytics Intern.   Data underpins   Gymshark's   vision by driving   and validating   business strategies.

The Customer Analytics Intern will provide the opportunity to be involved within a range of tasks to generate and share critical analytical insights. This includes conducting analysis on large data sets, using a variety of analytical tools, working in collaboration with stakeholders around the business and presenting back insights identified through reports,   infographics,   and presentations. The primary tools you will be using   daily   to unlock analytical insight will be SQL, Tableau and Alteryx; but we are always looking for ways to develop our skills and toolkit.

Please note t his is a hybrid role based in our Denver, CO office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate without company assistance. You must also be authorized to work in the United States .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

You will gain experience in the following areas:    

• Understand Gymshark's data architecture, how to connect data sources, and data analysis through database tables and dashboards
• Analysis on vast amounts of customer data to identify trends answering key business questions by supporting the customer,   marketing   &   commercial   analytics teams   on insight projects.   
• Turn trends and findings, identified from analysis you have completed, into actionable insight, communicating these findings to the wider business through visualizations, engaging reports, infographics and presentations that tell a compelling insight story.  
• Work closely with key stakeholders across the North American office to understand and fulfil their Customer Analytics needs.  
• Build relationships with International team members, located in the UK
• Complete a designated Customer Analytics project and present final report to NAM stakeholders
• Assist with the day to day running of the analytics team by providing support on any ad-hoc tasks/projects as and where required  

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:  

• Good data literacy and confident using Excel,   PowerPoint   and Microsoft Word ( experience in Alteryx and/or SQL a plus!)
• Accurate numerical skills and problem-solving skills    
• Effective communication skills 
• Ability to work independently and in team environment
• Ability to plan and manage time effectively     
• Willingness to learn new tools and   programs
• Ability to use initiative in challenging situations    
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to deliver immediate tasks     
• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders    
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment    
• You are a naturally curious thinking, self-driven character    
• Must be a current student
• Available for a full time 10-week internship starting June, 6 th 2022

This internship offers an hourly rate of $15/hr up to 40 hours per week
