Merchandising Intern

OVERVIEW:


We are looking for a student with a passion for merchandising to join our Commercial Team for a summer internship. You will spend 10 weeks with the Merchandising Team which will include working alongside our merchandisers and planners to select product assortment for our US and Canada E-Commerce stores.

As this role will be involved in a mix of responsibilities, it will give the successful candidate an opportunity to learn and develop their skills in a range of merchandising activities. This includes forecasting, buying and reporting to help support the North American market. This person will also have the opportunity to help determine the best product for the North American consumer.

Please note t his is a hybrid role based in our Denver, CO office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate without company assistance. You must also be authorized to work in the United States .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Assist the Merchandising team on the selection and purchasing of products for the NA region for either our Women's Division or Men's/Accessories Division, determining assortments, colors, sizing and overarching strategy
• Help prepare, maintain and distribute weekly/monthly standardized reporting
• Collaborate closely with Merchandisers & Site Merchandisers on upcoming product launches, marketing pushes and the day-to-day site experience
• Analyze in season business, such as color, size and attribute selling to provide detailed information to assist the Merchandising team in responding to business needs and trends.
• Evaluate and communicate competitive market trends within the fitness and conditioning environment
• Sample management including the ordering, unpacking and organization of sample closet.
• Support the greater Merchandising team in achieving key deadlines and goals by providing ad-hoc statistical reports, having a clear understanding of the commercial calendar and developing relationships with cross functional partners

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Must be a current student with a major or emphasis in a merchandising or a related field
• A passion for merchandising
• Love working in a team environment and a strong team player
• Exceptional organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• A flexible approach to work, with an ability to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable in communicating verbally with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to network
• Ability to work autonomously and to take initiative in challenging situations
• Able to learn quickly, take initiative and adapt to new challenges
• Skilled in Excel and building PowerPoint Decks
• Available for a full time 10-week internship starting June, 6 th 2022

This internship offers an hourly rate of $15/hr up to 40 hours per week
