The Team
The role is part of the Omni Media Marketing team which is responsible of strategizing and executing all digital paid media campaign across Europe. You will sit at the interaction between Marketing, Ecommerce, Media Buy, Creative Studio, CI, DMP Specialist, CRM, analytics and external partners.

The team is based in our Amsterdam headquarter and has 3 key objectives:
  • Increase brand engagement and consideration in the markets
  • Drive traffic and conversion at full price
  • Be a pro-active business partner with all stakeholders, internal and external

The Position
The Communication Coordinator is responsible for supporting the EMEA+ Communications department, ensuring the efficient running of all PR, influencer and advocacy projects and press office functions with an attention to deadlines and detail. The Communication Coordinator should be a 'beacon' in the daily communication with the markets. Next to that the coordinator supports the regional managers with daily team tasks, and the wider regional agenda. In addition, you will be closely Involved In the dressing of Influence talent

The coordinator role also comprises a sample component whereby the coordinator is the go-to person that coordinates the sample orders and requests for a specific division or project from all over the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa) and will also support and cover the US upon request.

This role also includes the involvement of executing the global advocacy strategy by supporting on both local as well as global level with sample/gifting management.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration/Back-Office tasks
  • Supporting the team in communicating all PR initiatives with relevant markets. Coordinating and supporting on all assets - tasks including (not limited to):
  • Lookbooks, Flatshoots, Emailers, Press kits, Imagery/videos, Price lists and Seasonal assets, Gifting
  • PR Portal (Uploading supported by team temp/intern)
  • Direct point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders (including CK Local, PR agencies, CK Global & CK Marketing teams) for all asset requests per division including (not limited to):
  • Evergreen assets (logo's, boiler template, archival imagery etc.)
  • Samples (Requests streamlined via CK Communications Email - Temp/Intern)
  • Agenda and manage presentation materials for weekly EMEA+ Communications Meeting.
  • Maintenance and uploading all press materials to PR Portal per division (Uploading supported by team temp/intern)
  • Maintenance of all Marketing/Communications distribution lists Financial support on invoices, creation of PO's and payment status to suppliers and expense reports.

Sample/Gifting Coordination Tasks
  • Sample/Gifting orders per project/market/division including (not limited to):
  • Compiling orders for EMEA+
  • Tracking with warehouse
  • Budget/Recharges
  • Liaising with B2B or Ecommerce team on sample availability
  • Managing the team support/temp (including hiring process) to support on sample management and shipments, advocacy programs and reporting, where needed. - in case applicable Supporting and serving all local sample requests of key fashion publications upon request by local PR agencies and CK global. (Requests streamlined via CK Communications Email - Temp/Intern)

Analytical tasks
  • Supporting in the creation of the seasonal EMEA+ communications strategy deck and calendar. Compiling editorial analysis and EMEA+ project/divisional/event reports and processes including (not limited to):
  • Compiling weekly influencer and editorial highlights
  • Pitchgrids compilation for all projects per division
  • Monthly reports for all EMEA+ markets
  • Managing our media monitoring platform Tribe Dynamics.
  • Event reports, Divisional reports, Seasonal reports

Seasonal Tasks
  • Supporting on seasonal events including (not limited to):
  • Hospitality program
  • Media Day management including PR briefing documents, sharing assets, spearheading media day gift development/ideas and reporting.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • At least 2 years relevant experience in similar role in the fashion / lifestyle industry
  • A completed degree in marketing/economics, engineering, statistics/mathematics, computer science or related fields
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Finance Applications
  • Proficient in Powerpoint, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive with cross functional stakeholders
  • Not phased by working under pressure with deadlines
  • Analytical and detailed orientated to support on finance, admin and weekly/monthly/annual communication and influence recaps
  • Understanding of fashion, retail and styling is a plus
