Zalando platform enables merchants (brands, retailers) to sell fashion articles directly to Zalando customers (online marketplace). The Platform Experience Operations team purpose is to continuously improve customer satisfaction through operational excellence of these merchants.
As Project Manager - Operations, you will support the Platform Experience Operations team in managing key processes related to the operational excellence of our merchants. You will have a direct impact on the scaling of our platform business by establishing processes and introducing improvements on the platform and on how we measure merchants performance.

As Project Manager - Operations, you will support the Platform Experience Operations team in managing key processes related to the operational excellence of our merchants. You will have a direct impact on the scaling of our platform business by establishing processes and introducing improvements on the platform and on how we measure merchants performance.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
- Operations: Analyze data quality of our merchants and manage day-to-day facing with product/engineering and partner-facing teams to introduce improvements
- Work closely with the cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize projects and tasks balancing criticality vs. capacity
- Define requirement specifications for stakeholders (developers, business partners)
- Support strategic discussions around customer experience, Merchants performance and business opportunities
- Drive ad-hoc projects within the team, suggest improvements of processes, reports and performance steering tools
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You have an educational background in business, project management or related field.
- You have gained at least 3 years of relevant experience working in a major consulting firm, a start-up or a fast moving environment. Experience and understanding of marketplace models with exposure to tech projects or product management is preferred.
- You have excellent analytical skills with proven track record in performing data-driven analysis and making data-driven decisions
- You are a self-starter with a proactive problem-solving mindset and a strong drive to get things done
- You have gained professional efficiency in both spoken and written English
