Zalando’s Product Experience team is looking for a fashion-affine Senior Product Manager to help our customers make lasting purchases.

We strive to bridge the gap between offline and online purchasing experiences, enabling our customers to discover, be inspired and purchase with confidence and convenience. The Product Experience team makes this happen by understanding what content is relevant and redefining how we best present our products to customers. We build the customer experience on the product detail pages across web and app premises to help millions of our customers find products they love and buy products they keep, ultimately delivering on our purpose to help customers make lasting purchases.

The opportunity for a Senior Product Manager here is immense - you will contribute to building the Zalando platform, be exposed to the zalando group strategy and create substantial customer and business impact.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Translate Zalando’s and the team’s purpose and strategy into a tactical roadmap to deliver a superior product presentation compared to any competing online or brick-and-mortar alternatives
  • Understand deeply how customers buy fashion, what information they need, what emotions they feel, to make it fun and easy for them to make lasting purchases
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the product value chain, (including buying, article onboarding, in-house production of product images and descriptions, Product Data and Experience department) to deliver customer-facing experiences on our apps and websites
  • Work hands-on with multiple web and app Engineering teams and create clarity on what to do next.
  • Identify and align competing priorities and manage a portfolio of cross-company and team level initiatives, from early-stage idea exchanges to hands-on delivery in close collaboration with Designers and Engineers

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • An experienced, data-driven and highly collaborative Senior Product Manager with a strong growth mindset and a track record in shipping customer and business impact at scale preferably in the e-commerce domain
  • With a strong customer focus, you are able to work with competing priorities, identify focus topics and deliverables according to the company’s overall strategy and goals.
  • You have defined and delivered a product vision and strategy that drives impact.
  • You have broken down complex problems by applying easy to understand frameworks using data to drive decisions.
  • You have worked across multiple engineering teams and provided product direction from discovery to delivery.
  • You have measured the success of your products across large scale releases and continuous optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience in building products for large user bases in large organisations is a plus
