OVERVIEW:


A Marketing Research Analyst at Gymshark has a key role in answering critical business questions and designing, organizing and delivering both quantitative and qualitative insights. Specifically, this role works closely with different teams around the business to understand their insight gaps and needs from a customer perspective and lead in designing, organizing and delivering a range of research projects. As a crucial part of the Research team, you will bring insights to life and turn them into a meaningful story to share across the business, tailoring the message to fit different stakeholder needs.

Please note while we are currently offering a hybrid work model, all candidates must be either Denver based, or willing to relocate to Denver, CO. 100% Remote work is not available for this role. You must also be legally able to work in the United States. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Leading the day to day running and delivery of research tasks and projects
  • Planning and executing quantitative studies: writing screeners, designing questionnaires, building surveys, analyzing data, charting and finding the story in data
  • Running qualitative studies: designing an approach, creating task/discussion guides, moderating online communities, generating key themes during analysis and interpreting results
  • Writing reports/debriefs and presenting findings to a variety of stakeholders, using your knowledge and intuition to define implications and proposed ‘next steps'
  • Leveraging the research archive to answer new questions using existing data and insight
  • Conduct background or desktop research to inform project planning
  • Supporting the Marketing Research Manager on strategic research projects
  • Championing insight within the business, having a clear point of view and the ability to articulate that point of view
  • Working closely with the analytics team(s) to put together the ‘whys' behind the ‘what's' and helping to create a holistic insight approach
  • Building and helping manage relationships with research partners and tool providers
  • Conducting ad testing research to inform, optimize and modify campaign activations

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • A Bachelor's degree, and minimum of two years of experience accepted
  • Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research techniques: strong quantitative skills desired
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and confidence in building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong digital literacy and highly proficient at using Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Data-curious with an incredible attention to detail
  • Ability to find the story within data and to unearth the actionable insights that solve business challenges
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver projects
  • A creative thinker with the ability to create innovative content and think outside of the box
  • A strong curiosity about the world around us, and what motivations drive consumer decisions
  • A desire to be involved in a strong company culture that is highly collaborative and committed to propelling the business forward

WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE:

  • Experience working with a customer research panel
  • Experience doing ad testing through quantitative or qualitative methodologies
  • Experience working with creative teams to develop, refine and hone creative deliverables
  • Working with or identifying trends over time in large data sets
  • Multi-Language skills
  • A background in eCommerce, apparel or sportswear

This role has a salary range between $61,000-$73,000 annually depending on experience.

Part of our compensation package includes a discretionary annual company performance bonus.
