Production Manager

Acne Studios is now looking for a production manager. In this role you will plan and coordinate the seasonal bulk production, from order placement to warehouse delivery of woven, leather and denim categories across womenswear and menswear including one-off projects. The production manager ensures timely and efficient planning and coordination of production, order placement and deliveries.

The work environment at Acne Studios is fast-paced and energetic; no day is ever the same. You will be based at Acne Studios headquarters in Stockholm and will have commitments that require travelling.

This position works closely other internal departments such as product development, quality, raw material buying and sustainability and reports to senior production manager.

Tasks will include but not be limited to

• Manage critical path and ensure production is delivered within drop precision and achieve company standards and goals for quality, cost and delivery
• Forecast production lead time and supplier capacity
• Review and negotiate production quotes based on volume
• Participate in PPS fittings and perform shipment sample checks
• Coordinate bulk deliveries in collaboration with supply chain, and track updates in internal systems
• Partner with suppliers, including on-site visits, communicate on day-to-day operations and identify opportunities and improvements
• Participate in department projects and initiatives, e.g. process reviews or digitalization projects
• Maintain balanced communication and a good working process with other internal departments

Desired qualifications

• Academic degree, from business school and/or textile education
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a product development or production preferable from high-end fashion brands
• Highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
• Experience from working in AX and PLM is a merit
• Good costing and negotiating skills
• Cooperative and creative problem solver
• Organized, proactive approach with strong follow through
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally
