Central Analytics is a central team providing all businesses within ZMS with reporting, data concepts, deep dive analyses and consulting on all types of analytical questions. This makes us have a great impact across a broad range of stakeholders within ZMS and even beyond.

The team is already well equipped with analytical expertise focused on various data topics and as we are constantly growing, we are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Marketing Analytics. In this role you will play a key role in driving the further development of the business by building the right tooling and KPIs to generate more efficiency internally and more effectiveness for our partners. This will lead to data-driven and meaningful decisions across all ZMS teams. You will work on various analytical tasks across our operations process flow and impact the way we steer our business.

Where your expertise is needed:
  • You are responsible for the Marketing Strategy & Operation reporting landscape and its further development, performing analytics to drive operations effectiveness.
  • You build/maintain data infrastructure (dashboards, aggregated data sets, reports, data pipelines) to monitor the performance of our marketing operations and drive business understanding.
  • You independently drive and create key analyses to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of ZMS, incorporating qualitative insights to make sure that insights become actions by actively driving them to influence the organisation.
  • You collaborate with Operations, Product and BI engineering teams to identify opportunities for improvement, conceptualize and develop new solutions together e.g. new tool, new KPI, algorithm improvement, forecasting model, etc.
  • You analyze data, conduct investigation and synthesize requirements into project plans, written proposals and structured playbooks.
  • You support with your data storytelling skills our senior management and business teams to take data-based business decisions and actions.
  • You have direct exposure to senior stakeholders, collect their requirements, develop analytical concepts, build prototypes and stepwise improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our operations.

What we are looking for:
  • You ́re proud of a degree in economics, computer science, mathematics or other quantitative studies and have already relevant > 5 years working experience in Analytics, ideally in MarTech.
  • You balance technical acumen with business understanding and excel in collaborating with commercial stakeholders to drive insightful, robust analyses.
  • You can easily translate business questions into quantitative terms and present the results in an easily understandable manner.
  • You have excellent project management, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • You have a proven track record of building up business monitoring and deriving actionable insights which translates into strong knowledge of e-commerce KPIs and how they can be defined, continuously monitored and shared across stakeholders.
  • Your ability to dive into details and hands-on mentality enable you to get things done and create a big impact in a fast-paced environment.
  • You possess extensive experience of data visualization tools like MSTR, Tableau, Google DataStudio is needed to create minimum valuable products (MVPs).
  • You possess experience using SQL or similar language to extract and manipulate data on e.g. BigQuery. First experience with a scripting language like Python or R would be a plus.
