JOB SUMMARY
Key member of the Finance team focusing on Inventory Accounting & Control responsibilities which will include but not limited to: working directly with General Accounting and FP&A, preparing management reporting, processing monthly journal entries in a global, omni-channel environment, performing stock ledger to general ledger reconciliations in SAP, analyzing shrink and damage expense, processing inventory adjustments and analyzing weighted average cost to ensure accuracy.

JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key player in business changes which impact inventory accounting and control
- Global Reconciliation between the Inventory Stock Ledger and General Ledger
- Journalize month end close and responsible for ensuring the close process is completed smoothly and accurately
- Review and report financial and physical inventory results and reconcile variances
- Monitor all transactions involving inventory to ensure the perpetual inventory records are maintained
- Work closely with cross-functional counterparts in our distribution centers and supply chain functions to develop and maintain policies and processes to handle new or existing transaction streams
- Prepare various audit and financial statement schedules
- Assist with creating, monitoring and reporting KPI's for all aspects of inventory and cost accounting
- Perform an inventory roll for appropriate countries assigned
- Review and analyze documents received from external departments for Duties, Freight, Finished Goods, and Miscellaneous invoices
- Maintaining and validating the new Style Cost Master report to ensure costing integrity
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years related experience within the accounting field
- Experience with SAP and Manhattan WMI preferred
- Ability to understand systematic processes
- Advanced proficiency in use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Strong aptitude to understand accounting systems and how to extract and reconcile information
- High level of attention to detail required in managing analytical tasks
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong problem-solving and follow through
- Show curiosity and willing to problem solve with a team
