JOB SUMMARY

The Director, Talent Development Partner supports the Tory Burch Distribution Center (DC) located in McDonough, GA. The individual will be a trusted thought partner for the Vice President, DC Operations and his senior leadership team. There is a focus on employee engagement, retention & performance management and succession planning. The role is responsible for all aspects of the employee experience, serving as a trusted and objective ambassador for the Company, leaders and employees. Additionally, keeping a pulse on our DC employee population, the culture and dynamics in the departments, and developing strong talent solutions to support the business. This role reports directly to the VP, Talent Development Partner.

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide day-to-day partnership and counsel on all HR disciplines: talent development & coaching, recruitment, organizational design, employee relations, learning & development and compensation.
  • Partner/leverage our Talent Centers of Excellence teams to support client group and execute Talent programs.
  • Develop, support, and communicate policies and procedures. Manage risk and ensure legal compliance by keeping current with the regulatory environment.
  • Support initiatives that help to maintain an open and positive work environment. Encourage and drive consistency in all execution of Talent Policies and Practices.
  • Promote a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Implement, maintain and evolve employee programs, policies and procedures.
  • Proactively address employee relations efforts and conduct balanced investigations.
  • Manage on and off boarding process (partner with managers on processing the information via Workday)
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements in the areas of talent development at both the associate and leadership levels to strengthen skillset across teams
  • Facilitate talent management processes (year-end, mid-year, goals cascades, talent calibrations, culture survey, comp reviews, etc.) and coach client groups on how to evaluate, motivate and effectively lead talent
  • Support delivery oftalent development initiatives
  • Provide support in organizational change initiatives. Partner with the business to develop and maintain a strategic, creative, and fluid org design and talent roadmap.


EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years general HR + OE/OD experience
  • Must have experience working with a diverse set of leaders and proven experience influencing at that levels
  • Must have experience partnering with teams on organization design and effectiveness
  • Strong knowledge and experience in creating tools and processes to support a complex talent base
  • Ability and passion in building versus maintaining
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented; ability to truly be selfless and do what's right for the business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels both internally and externally (encompasses verbal, written, listening)
  • Able to establish a high level of trust and credibility in the organization.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; more comfort working in the grey than black & white
