The Team

The Tommy Hilfiger Global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows department is a creative hub within Omnichannel organization. This department oversees the creative strategy, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brand and all points of sale. This includes full price retail stores, franchise locations, wholesale shop-in-shops, concession, and outlet channels. The Tommy Hilfiger global team sets global direction and works collaboratively with two other regional hubs in: New York and Hong Kong. To extend this outreach the team is set-up to also support the needs of local markets across Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. This team works in parallel with the global marketing team on development, and execution of product presentations across Tommy Hilfiger global, a 360 concept and consumer messaging approach. The Calvin Klein regional team collaborates with the New York global headquarters on adapted direction to support the EMEA business needs. This includes visual merchandising, campaign roll out, and display strategies across the region. This team works in collaboration with numerous functions across the Omnichannel business as well as local markets. The team environment is collaborative, dynamic, innovative, resourceful, open and respectful.

The Position

The Specialist, VM, Display & Windows Marketing Communications TH Global & PVH EMEA reports to the Senior Manager, VM, Display & Windows Communications, TH Global & PVH EMEA. Main responsibilities include overseeing the rollout of seasonal and non-seasonal messaging to our Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein stores through partnership with key internal stakeholders and external vendors. The role will involve identifying new opportunities to optimize our consumer journey through clear communication to the consumer with the development of a strategic signage portfolio that supports seasonal and non-seasonal activation's.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the rollout of seasonal & non-seasonal messaging to our TH & CK stores in accordance with the Retail & Marketing calendars:
    • TH seasonal campaigns: In-store
    • TH seasonal/non-seasonal messaging: In-store
    • CK seasonal/non-seasonal messaging: Windows & In-store

Seasonal:
  • Oversee the in-store communications strategy, partnering with Key Stakeholders including Brand Marketing, Brand Activation, Merchandising, Commercial and VM & Windows to strategically define in-store imagery for our TH store portfolio.
  • Define the monthly calendar for in-store image updates including season launches and capsules, identifying key moments and products and ensuring visibility in-store through imagery and messaging.
  • According to the calendar acquire seasonal marketing assets for TH and ensure the organization of assets and guidelines.
  • Oversee the seasonal print & production schedule with external vendor, communicating guidelines and assets in a timely manner to ensure in-store launch dates are met.
  • Provide clear supplier briefing, approve artworks, organize translations and monitor delivery progress.
  • Create clear POS guidelines for instructions to the markets.

Non-Seasonal:
  • Oversee the evolution of our non-seasonal signage portfolio, identifying opportunities to refine our promotional and operational messaging for TH in-store and CK in-store and windows.
  • Partner with stakeholders including markets to ensure Full Price, SIS and Outlet needs are met.
  • Identify new communication opportunities in collaboration with market feedback and business strategies.
  • Brief the creation and development of non-seasonal in-store/windows messaging to support key commercial and brand initiatives.
  • Maintain the TH & CK signage webshops, seeking ways to improve and evolve the signage ordering process for both TH & CK brands. Includes maintenance of content, archiving of expired imagery and optimization of master site data.
  • Monitor use of seasonal & non-seasonal messaging in the markets and ensure adherence to guidelines.
  • Create clear Non-Seasonal signage principles.
  • Support with the prioritization of signage orders for high profile store openings & events, such as Flagship openings, Model Store events, Fashion Week.

Other:
  • Collaborate with Communications team on content creation for newsletters and events.
  • Participate in department and team projects as needed from both VM and Windows including field and guideline shoot support for all channels.
  • Collaborate with Communications team on the creation of 360 Matterport models for store openings and events as required.
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders on key projects as required.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • 4-5 years of work experience in a related role, including supplier briefing
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong command of both spoken and written English
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task between projects and brands, ideally with Project Management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office & Adobe Suite software [In Design]
  • Strategic mindset
  • Strong fashion affinity and knowledge of the retail industry
  • Ability to build cross functional relationships
  • Ability to work in a team environment
