Job Details

  • Leadership in action. You are currently in a people lead role, and have a track record of mentoring and guiding teams to foster individual growth and achieve team outcomes.
  • Dedication to building diverse teams. You understand that a diverse team outperforms a homogeneous one, and that it takes active work to build a diverse pool of candidates. You have a history of helping your team members prioritize diverse representation through their work.
  • Technical fluency. You demonstrate curiosity about technology and the communities that emerge around it. You understand how different technical disciplines partner to bring strong products to market and do your best to stay apprised of emerging trends in the industry.
  • Confidence in communication, especially when it's tough. You are confident in your ability to have challenging conversations and provide feedback to team members, peers, and senior stakeholders. Additionally, you understand the importance of communication in a remote environment and are skilled in both written and verbal communication.
  • Ease with building relationships. You understand that no one works as an island in building a Digital by Design company, and have a history of collaboration with multiple stakeholders within and without your immediate team, fostering strong relationships along the way.
  • Constant prioritization and a sense of urgency. You know how to work with multiple competing priorities, to shift focus as needs or requirements change, and to manage the expectations of those you work with.
  • Methodical and goal-driven approach. You look for ways to break a problem down into smaller parts, work backwards from a desired outcome, and iterate based on what you've learned. You are especially interested in understanding recruiting as a system, and using data to inform your teams' approach.
  • Comfort with autonomy. You know that you don't have all the answers, but you are pretty sure that you can find them. You enjoy the freedom of self-directed work, and relish the chance to figure things out for yourself.
