The Style Advice team aims to deliver the best of fashion and beauty advice to all Zalando customers, offering a human touch and creating meaningful interactions that drive engagement and support customers along their journey.

As Head of Product you will lead the creation of experiences which give Zalando's millions of customers across Europe solutions to their style needs and ultimately empowers them to wear what they love and love what they wear.

You will lead the definition of the product vision and strategy and partner with the multidisciplinary teams (engineering, data science, design, commercial) across Zalando to deliver impactful products that scale for customers and stylists.

You will also become a senior member of the Zalando product management community which works together to create a high performing, inclusive, collaborative product culture across the company.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, putting collaboration and enablement at the core of how your teams work
  • Develop and launch scalable style advice products that drive engagement and customer loyalty
  • Discover and validate customer problems based on rigorous product management frameworks and techniques and turn them into actionable strategies.
  • Define KPIs in order to measure your impact and the success of the product. Demonstrate passion and drive to keep up with product innovations
  • Contribute to the product management community at Zalando by conveying energy as well as championing inclusion and hiring, to make people stretch to the next level in the pursuit of product craft mastery.
  • Experienced, data-driven, and collaborative product leader with a strong track record of developing impactful customer facing digital products
  • Demonstrable passion for understanding customers, identifying and understanding their underlying motivations and needs.
  • Experience in defining and delivering on a product vision and strategy, and prioritising
  • Track record of leading multiple product managers creating a high challenge, high support culture which sets measurable goals and empowers product managers to make decisions about the products they lead
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with solid evidence of collaborating with multidisciplinary partners at all stages of the product life cycle
  • Evidence of community contribution to product management either inside a previous company or to a broader group
  • Affinity for fashion and understanding of the fashion industry is a plus
