OVERVIEW:


As Gymshark continues to expand globally, we are seeking a Merchandise Planner to help support the North America market, including forecasting and reporting. This person will report to Gymshark's Planning Manager, maintaining budgets and identifying opportunities for success.

Please note t his is a hybrid role based in our Denver, CO office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Develop preseason sales, margin and inventory turn plans that support major growth strategies at the department, category, and key item level
  • Create brand and category level quarterly hindsight reports to drive strategic assortment decisions for future quarters and in-season management
  • Partner with Merchant team to recommend promotional pricing and strategies
  • Partner with Planning Manager to provide guidance to the merchandising team- plan and project receipt flow for categories and key items to support sales forecasts
  • Support Planning leadership in establishing a monthly Open-To-Buy process
  • Support Planning manager in translating financial forecasts into inventory forecasts, determining sales, margin and stock opportunities and risks by category, as well as factoring any promotional activity for the upcoming season
  • Prepare and present weekly business reporting and provide expert analysis on trends and make actionable recommendations to business leaders and cross functional teams
  • Support Planning manager with the day-to-day management of commercial calendar, including sales events, partnering on Global initiatives and identifying regional opportunities
  • Support the inception and roll out of reporting for NA planning teams
  • Support planning manager/ head of planning with special projects and business opportunities
  • Establish, nurture, and utilize internal and external partners to drive the business

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Qualities:

  • At least 2+ years in retail planning, company planning, FP&A, or financial forecasting
  • Previous Open-to-Buy expertise
  • Strong excel skills, with the ability to summarize and decipher key takeaways
  • Very strong numerically, analytical, and commercially minded
  • Be naturally time conscious and KPI driven to attain deadlines.
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-starter, able to operate in a fast paced, high growth environment

Preferred Qualities

  • Start-up experience, particularly establishing and building new reporting
  • Athletic apparel experience is a plus

This role has a salary range between $66,000-$80,000 annually depending on experience.
