JOB PURPOSE

You will act as the Business Services Platform point of contact for DevOps Operational Delivery, lead delivery of support and maintenance for applications and infrastructure that underpin the BSP DevOps Factory services. You will liaise with Service Managers and Business Stakeholders to achieve successful delivery of Ops services. You will guide, coordinate and govern our partners to ensure smooth running of the DevOps Factory services as well as drive forward continual improvement and innovation of Burberry Operational capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading Operations within the DevOps Factory towards a consistent high quality service
  • Liaising across Burberry IT to Orchestrate Demand, escalations and facilitate prioritisation of services
  • Working with and managing third party partners to maintain tight control of capacity versus demand and operational elements of the DevOps Factory
  • Identifying and driving continual improvement of process and procedures to optimise Operations within the DevOps Factory
  • Governing the adherence to process and procedures of third party partners
  • Communicating with other domain experts to support a single end to end support goal and coordination between teams.
  • Driving Service Transition of any new or amended services ensuring consistent knowledge management 


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience working in IT Operational Support
  • Experience working in IT Service Management
  • Previous experience of working with Third-Parties
  • Previous experience of SAP (Desirable)
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • ITIL Foundation
  • ITIL Practitioner (Desirable)
  • Project Management (Desirable)
