Who What Wear is looking to hire an Associate Editor to join its award-winning workplace culture. If you’re looking to work with leading fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands to create content the Who What Wear audience will engage with, we’d love to hear from you! If you love shopping content and organically weaving in copy points from brands while maintaining your editorial voice, we’d love to hear from you! 

Our Branded Content team creates sponsored and editorial content for our brand partners that feels organic to Who What Wear. As an Associate Editor on our team, you will ideate, curate, and create a range of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content. 

If you’re the ideal candidate for the role, you love to create content that’s optimized for a digital and social audience, and you are able to do it fast without sacrificing quality. You’re up to date with beauty and fashion trends and have a strong interest in creating ROI-driving content that meets campaign goals and editorial standards. 

This role can be based in New York or Los Angeles. 

Who What Wear is powered by a hybrid remote/ in-person workforce that spans the US and UK. Working here means that you get to build the work environment that best accommodates your unique needs and enables you to bring your best, most productive self to work – from nearly anywhere. Our interviewing and onboarding activities are conducted virtually, as will most of your work, but you should be open to working in person from time to time if necessary. 


Key Duties:

  • Create editorial and sponsored content for Who What Wear and THE/THIRTY across beauty, fashion, wellness, lifestyle, and home categories
  • Write concise and compelling copy for 5+ sponsored stories a week as well as social content, promotional elements, dedicated emails, newsletters, and decks under tight deadlines
  • Ideate and execute highly shoppable stories in a collaborative manner with our partners, artfully incorporating their priorities and feedback while maintaining Who What Wear’s editorial content standards, style guide and best practices
  • Build stories in our CMS that are optimized for SEO, meet FTC requirements, and reflect knowledge of our top-performing content
  • Merchandize for strong affiliate conversion while maintaining Who What Wear’s aspirational and fashion-forward POV


Key Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience creating digital-media content
  • Interest in native advertising and revenue-driving content and well-versed in fashion and beauty trends, retailers, brands, and key players, with an eye for product curation
  • Knowledge of online editorial and social media best practices, including optimizing content for SEO, and familiarity with affiliate content marketing
  • Must be able to provide self-direction to manage time and prioritize daily tasks using our project management software with a collaborative spirit and positive, can-do attitude
  • Intimate familiarity with Who What Wear and understanding of the brand
