People Team

The People Team partners with the organization to build an inclusive culture through talent acquisition, people management, and employee experience. We work towards a culture that ensures every employee has a meaningful work experience and is engaged and happy.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Director, People & Office Management, you'll create an outstanding experience for our Stadium Goods employees all stages of their journey. Following our values you'll have an 'amaze customer' approach and will provide credible advice and counsel. You will work with the People Partners to achieve the People agenda contributing to and leading on local projects which help us to create a culture where our people excel.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • You will support the People Partners to guide & facilitate strategic people plans, activities and cyclical processes across the entire employee journey e.g. talent mapping, development projects, team reviews, compensation and performance review processes, employee engagement action planning.
    • You will provide advice on employee relations, People policies, procedures and legislation following our values, spanning the employee lifecyle (e.g. family friendly, performance, conduct), escalating to People Partners
    • You will play an important role in the joiner, mover, leaver process, ensuring an excellent onboarding experience, delivering engaging new joiner inductions sessions and providing a seamless integration into the business.
    • You will conduct exit interviews and work with the wider People Team to provide a smooth offboarding experience, aiming to understand the reasons behind attrition to improve employee retention
    • You will collect and analyze data to provide recommendations to your People Partners, Senior Director of People and important partners, so we can continue to improve our People experiences, employee happiness and retention (e.g. analyze leaver trends).
    • You will support larger scale projects and lead on small-medium, medium impact projects within the People Team and business
    • You will keep up-to-date with employment legislation changes and industry trends in the HR world, to bring new ideas to the team


WHO YOU ARE

    • You have generalist HR experience, 3+ years
    • You have a knowledge of US employment law and practices, have managed varied and complex casework and can thoughtfully and discreetly deal with varied and sensitive situations with integrity
    • You can professionally communicate with different team members at all levels and across borders and departments
    • You can coach managers to engage and motivate their teams, deploying an empathetic approach, always living by our 'Be Human' value of authenticity, respect and doing the right thing
    • You have a customer service mindset, with a focus on the employee experience and desire to achieve, review and improve what we provide
    • You are a creative problem solver who deals with change and ambiguity. You are comfortable pivoting around changing priorities and excel in a creative environment
    • You enjoy getting into the detail with your work and have an eye for spotting errors, championing data protection
    • You have experience in HR data systems. A full working knowledge of Workday would be beneficial but not essential
