NEW YORK

Our New York office is located in Midtown near the iconic Bryant Park and the historic Grand Central Terminal, New York's best connected office neighborhood. The beautifully designed office has 360 views and tall windows to bring the outside in. We have a communal kitchen that brings the team together for Family Lunch and Happy Hours. The office is open plan with plenty of rooms and booths to take a private call, have time to relax and work in private or have a large collaborative meeting.

THE ROLE

As we continue to accelerate in growth, we're looking for a People Partner to join as a trusted partner to the business. Reporting to the Head of People Partnering you'll create an outstanding experience for our employees at all stages of the employee life cycle, providing credible advice following policy and procedures. You will also have a focus, contributing to and leading on, local projects to create a culture where our people succeed. You'll be a progressive HR generalist with solid experience in employee relations and providing first-class advice to the business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • You will partner with business leaders and the People Partnering team to design an aligned People strategy for your departments, focused on developing and retaining our people as we scale
    • You will take the lead supporting managers through people processes e.g. annual performance cycle and salary reviews, following the People Team project calendar
    • You will oversee people processes for your area and lead on local processes (if required), ensuring operational efficiency across all areas of the employee life cycle and a seamless and engaging employee experience e.g. payroll, immigration
    • You will manage employee relations cases e.g. disciplinaries, grievances, performance, and escalating to Head of the People team when needed
    • You will partner with the wider People Partnering team to support data-driven essential engagement plans that result from our regular Pulse surveys
    • You will work with functional experts to complete important people projects such as compensation and benefits, learning & development, employer brand and talent acquisition
    • You will support in delivery of successful internal L&D projects at employee and manager level using a blended learning approach. Always considering our values and our tone of voice
    • You will evaluate learning needs analysis and feedback to propose recommendations of learning solutions and improvements. Communicate these findings to the wider People Partnering team
    • You will organize monthly learning calendars and ensure learning is coordinated and statistics are logged
    • You will partner with the Talent Acquisition team during the candidate offer process, advising to benchmark and calibrate candidate offers
    • You will support and join the interview process for your teams (where needed) to help guide a process following our values


WHO YOU ARE

    • You have HR generalist experience at business partner/ generalist level, with 5+ years of experience.
    • You have excellent knowledge of US employment law and best practice
    • You are experience in managing projects, from design through to execution and evaluation
    • You have an approach to business partnering, using insights to provide recommendations to your business to promote informed decisions
    • You can implement a strategy with engaging initiatives and tactics
    • You enjoy working in a fast growth environment and can pivot around priorities when needed
    • You love working with people across different levels demonstrating cultural awareness
    • You are an ambassador of change, with a dynamic approach to work
