To strengthen our "Global Corporate Responsibility & Public Affairs" team, we are looking for an Expert Packaging Management (m/f/d) on a part-time basis, limited until 31.12.2022 as a parental leave replacement.

What you can expect:

• Review and implementation of legal requirements for packaging (licensing/taxation, environmental labeling, etc.)
• System-supported data analysis of packaging volumes and materials to determine the status quo and to derive optimization potentials
• Evaluation of alternative packaging materials and support in the development/implementation of more sustainable packaging solutions
• Interface coordination of various internal areas related to packaging, e.g. technical and creative development, procurement, purchasing, logistics, ECom, international subsidiaries
• Central contact for external service providers such as dual systems, appraisers and auditors as well as cooperation partners in the field of packaging sustainability (e.g. Canopy)
• Further development of internal data management systems and processes for the correct recording of the required packaging data and sustainability criteria
• Definition of company-wide targets, minimum requirements and standards for sustainable packaging (Sustainable Packaging Guideline)

Your profile:

• At least three years of professional experience in the area of supply chain/operations
• Knowledge of packaging management is an advantage
• Strong interest in and knowledge of relevant sustainability topics
• Very good German, English and MS Office skills
• Excellent structuring and organizational skills as well as strong implementation skills
• Pleasure in working systematically and analytically
• Very good communication and teamwork skills, high level of commitment and self-motivation
• Independent and careful work, especially independent control of external partners and contractors in the field of packaging
• Confident, authoritative and convincing appearance
