Client Relations & Logistics Coordinator

GAUGE81 (pronounced GO-SH eighty-one) is seeking a dynamic, detailed-oriented and experienced individual with a positive attitude, to join our growing team as Client Relations & Logistics Coordinator in Amsterdam. You will join a rapidly-growing international company and work closely with other internal departments to effectively help set up the company’s future success.

The Role:

  • Daily communication with the biggest multi-brand retailers in the world, including Net-a-Porter, Browns, Matches, Revolve and SSENSE (just to name a few).
  • Manage and work closely with the warehouse team to ensure orders are completed correctly and efficiently.
  • Prepare international customs documents for shipments including packing lists and commercial invoices. 
  • Issue invoices and credit memos to wholesale customers.
  • Fulfill daily requests from wholesale clients about specific details the collection.
  • Prepare the collection for sales each season using our online platform, JOOR.
  • Coordinate with multiple logistic companies to ensure successful deliveries. 
  • Manage weekly and monthly stock procedures and inventory adjustments with the company system.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5 years or more experience in a relevant operations position with strong knowledge of logistics and customer service, ideally in a fashion business.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing teams and coordinating tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of inventory, stock movements and adjustments.
  • Very strong communication skills with excellent use of written English.
  • Well organized and effective with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • A self-starter and motivated person, who can demonstrate initiative and able to work independently when necessary.
  • A team player who likes to work in a bustling, busy and international environment.
  • Eager to take responsibilities and take initiative.
