The Team

Calvin Klein Display & Windows Team belongs to the PVH Omnichannel Department and is part of the EMEA headquarter of Calvin Klein. The team is responsible for creating and shaping the appearance of CALVIN KLEIN in all offline points of sales in the EMEA region. This includes concept development/adaptation for all aspects of windows, display and visual merchandising and overseeing the execution of these concepts by delivering general and seasonal guidelines to all stakeholders, such as procurement, expansion and local VM teams.

The Position

Display & Windows team oversees three areas for our CK Windows: Creative, Campaign, Seasonal Windows Consumer Messaging. The senior specialist will work on the elevation of the concepts and management of the design, production and rollout of the Full Price, considering all Retail Own & Operated, Franchise and Wholesale channels. This is achieved in close collaboration with the Calvin Klein divisions, marketing, retail buying, merchandising, store design teams.

At the same time, the senior specialist has to build and maintain close collaboration and contact with other team members: one senior display specialist, one window creative specialist, one planning specialist and the team manager.

Projects assigned are multi-disciplinary with a range of responsibilities between window creative, campaign, consumer messaging, always within the area of CK windows & display in the EMEA market, with a strong focus on design and project management. The role requires the involvement and alignment between various stakeholders within the business prior to each season.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concept development, production and roll-out of seasonal store window creative concepts, as adaptations of the global directive for all divisions in full-price retail.
  • Concept development, production and roll-out of KCP (Key Consumption Period) window creative concepts for all divisions in full-price retail.
  • Concept development, production and roll-out of event related creative concepts, like Season Launch, Virtual Experience event, Marketing Activations, etc.
  • Concept briefs for special production in local markets (MEA+ / Russia+ / Turkey), production and roll-out strategy, logistics, direct or indirect (through local Markets) supplier communication within the global directive.
  • Creation of a concept and sample brief including all necessary and technical information such as specs, allocation and artworks for the supplier.
  • Development and creation of comprehensive digital guidelines to ensure consistent implementation in the markets and holding market training sessions at installations.
  • Independent management of sample adjustments and development.
  • Sample and budget signoff with senior management
  • Implementing EMEA HQ sustainable standards, supplier and material sourcing with sustainable or green certifications, development or recycling guidelines and decreasing local market's waste.
  • Continuously participating in improving our digital platform and developing a window creative webshop for local market orders.
  • All channel budget management for all projects and concepts, including price negotiations with suppliers, Purchase Orders and Recharges process management.
  • Development of creative kit that is in line with the brand's corporate identity and serves all market's needs (non-seasonal and seasonal)
  • Submission of project deliverables, status reports, proper production plans and supplier briefs
  • Management of multiple suppliers and tendering sessions while ensuring quality and items are produced at the best possible costs
  • Driving the digitalization of processes and implementation and optimizing site related master data

The Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience as a retail window concept designer or visual designer, preferably in a fashion retail environment
  • Excellent 3D design skills and creative understanding of space and colours
  • Experience in visual communication and creation of appealing documents
  • Bachelor degree in Architecture or Design
  • Excellent knowledge of 3D rendering programs (SketchUp / Vray)
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Very good knowledge of MS office programs
  • Knowledge of AutoCad and Mockshop is an advantage
  • Strong fashion affinity and knowledge/awareness of the retail industry
  • Ability to conceptualize ideas and bring them to realization
  • Ability to manage and multi-task between projects and work streams
  • Ability to be self-reliant and comfortable with decision-making
  • Ability to combine creative thinking with strategic execution and project management
