Your impact

We are looking for our very first permanent Senior Talent Sourcer to join our Talent Team at Otrium. The successful individual will manage the first stage of the recruiting process for a variety of roles working alongside and supporting our Talent Acquisition Partners on their mission.

As our Talent Sourcer you will be impactful in identifying talent channels and avenues to help us reach the best talent across all areas of our organisation including Technology, Product, Brand, Design, Sales, Marketing, Finance and everything else in between.

The core of this role will focus on passive candidate sourcing and building of talent pipelines to enable us to be a more proactive and strategic team, ensuring sufficient sources of candidates are generated for our planned and opportunistic growth.

Your responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective candidates across a number of platforms and sources such as social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, meetup, stackoverflow, slack, Github)
  • Create and send engaging recruiting emails and use data to help determine effectiveness
  • Support TA Partners on role briefings to determine scope & priorities in the position requirements, re-calibrating and tailoring as the search continues
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search, x-ray, creative channels)
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants and highlight the importance of making data-driven decisions in hiring
  • Proactively promote the referral scheme to current employees
  • Promote our employer brand online and offline as well as contribute towards it’s evolution
  • Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System- Greenhouse)
  • Communicate with past applicants (silver medallists) regarding new job opportunities

About you

  • Proven work in house experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)
  • Professional level verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates in an exciting and engaging manner, storytelling at every opportunity
  • Effective time-management skills and the ability to be able to make informed decisions when prioritising and influencing timelines/outcomes
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset that is customer-obsessed and looks to promote innovation.
