THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As Head of HR Business Partners for Finance and Corporate Governance you will have an influential share in the continuous evolution of our Finance and Corporate Governance functions. By partnering with our Finance and Corporate Governance Leadership teams, you will be crucial in implementing ideas and executing strategies to better address Finance and Corporate Governance related business needs and have a major impact on Zalando's vision, becoming the starting point for fashion.

Working within one of Europe's largest and most ambitious Business Partner teams, you will help us foster Zalando's growth and success by focusing on talent, culture, cross-company collaboration and inclusion, and operational excellence. In support of this work, we are seeking a Head of Business for Finance and Corporate Governance to work with our leaders as we continue to accelerate our function.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED...
  • You are responsible for the strategic Finance management of a portfolio of units within Finance (Finance Solutions and Operations, Finance Performance Management, Business Finance Organisation) and work with the Finance Leadership team to bring this work successfully to life
  • You act as strategic and trusted partner for Finance and Corporate Governance and consult on all major people aspects from workforce- and talent management to organizational development, team effectiveness, people & leadership development and D&I
  • With your team you plan, steer and oversee the Performance and Growth cycles and you work closely with the Performance and Growth team to deliver the best solutions
  • Together with your team you participate in company wide strategic P&O projects to help shape P&O for the future and to support the overall P&O team as we drive our function
  • You are a proactive and inspiring influencer in Zalando's P&O community and contribute your knowledge and experience to a diverse range of projects and in strong collaboration with your peers
  • You lead your team with empathy, clarity and passion while you make people development and team effectiveness one of your key priorities
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...
  • You have a minimum of 10 years track record in the field of HR management and solid leadership experience
  • You are able to cope with a rapidly changing environment, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Successfully guiding and steering teams, putting collaboration at the core of how our teams work, thus, enabling and empowering them
  • You have experience in working with and influencing senior executive stakeholders
  • You are able to propel for results, setting, prioritizing and achieving multiple and sometimes competing goals and timetables while demonstrating a pragmatic mentality
  • You have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to clearly articulate complex concepts, ideas, and processes always backed up with relevant data with the proven presence especially with senior stakeholders
  • You are able to work with a fair degree of autonomy across multiple responsibilities and demonstrate tremendous initiative and sense of personal accountability, while remaining a team player
  • You are business fluent in English. Knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory
