SKIMS is looking for a seasoned VP of Performance Marketing to lead the customer
acquisition and retention functions for the company across channels including affiliate, social, mobile, display, offline, search, email and beyond...
As head of performance marketing, you will partner closely with the Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, Creative and Data Analytics teams to grow an amazing brand. The right candidate will have a keen understanding of the fundamentals of ecommerce and optimizing for both acquisition and retention. This is a great opportunity for someone to make their mark on a high-growth business. We are a start-up, so no job is too big or too small for any of our leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Launch, test, iterate, scale, repeat
- Own the channel strategy and management across the performance
- marketing mix, including paid social, search, display, affiliates, sponsored
- content, email marketing, direct marketing, connected TV, podcasts & more
- Oversee performance marketing programs with a focus on core metrics,
- testing & optimization while staying on-brand
- Communicate share KPIs, trends, insights, and challenges across the
- organization
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests to lower CAC
- and increase conversions
- Develop innovative CRM and email marketing strategies utilizing customer
- cohort data to build on customer LTV
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the
- user experience
- Partner with the ecommerce team and leverage performance marketing
- analytics to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across multiple
- channels and customer touch points
- Own the relationship with all performance marketing vendors & agencies
- Implement marketing attribution capabilities incl. media mix modeling and
- multi-touch attribution as well as build out and advancement of these capabilities for use in planning and day-to-day channel management
Qualifications
- 9+ years of digital/performance marketing experience - in house experience
- preferred
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in marketing, business or a related field
- A passionate leader with a drive to test and win
- An effective communicator who knows how to build teams and inspire team
- members to output their best work and seek collaboration to drive toward common goals
- Deep understanding and proven track record of managing acquisition and retention focused campaigns, strategies and benchmarks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze complex data to make meaningful and actionable decisions
- Experience working in Facebook Ads, Google Ads, DoubleClick, Google
- Analytics, Webmaster Tools, etc.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments/testing
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.) and experience with BI platforms
- Interest in looking outside the existing toolbox – comfortable evolving with
- the ever-changing landscape
