DevOps Engineer

SKIMS is a solutions-oriented brand creating the future of underwear, shapewear and loungewear. We’re disrupting the industry with our game-changing product and culturally driven creative, and are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join us in building the next generation of intimates.

Responsibilities

• Hands on contributor to the Engineering Team with a focus on serverless cloud infrastructure
• Implement CI/CD Pipeline using Github Actions
• Implement, maintain, and consult on the observability and monitoring framework that supports the needs of multiple internal stakeholders
• Contribute to web development tasks as needed
• Develop with a priority and focus on data security best practices, scalability, reliability
• Write clean and efficient code while optimizing for performance and stability as we scale

Experience and Requirements

• Understanding of web application architecture and frameworks
• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps practitioner/engineer
• Experience with at least one of following technologies:
• AWS (SNS/SQS/Lambda/API Gateway), Docker, Terraform
• Development expertise in the following languages or similar:
• Node.js, Python, Bash
• Proficiency working in Unix/Linux environments and experience with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, Splunk, Solarwinds, etc.
• Version control system experience (e.g. Git)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or in an Agile team environment
• Effective communication skills
