The Team

The MEA+ organization is one of the most dynamic organizations within PVH. We are responsible for developing the PVH brands (Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein) in the emerging markets (Middle East, Africa). We are currently represented in 19 countries with a portfolio of 101 Tommy Hilfiger and 74 Calvin Klein franchise stores. Our business approach is multifaceted in order to optimize the positioning of PVH in our markets.

The Position

Business Development for Eastern Hub is functioning as a sparring partner to the MD and local Management Team on a range of strategic topics.

Reporting into the sr. Director Business Development within the Eastern Hub, the Position is responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of strategic initiatives.

Taking a central perspective while actively managing relationships between Business Development and all relevant stakeholders, this position is able to efficiently manage the project team's thinking and problem-solving process, while ensuring the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as a full-integrated partner in designated Projects: driving, guiding, challenging project deliverables and actively seeking new info and alignment to provide "full visibility", decision making content;
  • Responsible for Projects/Milestones Calendar. Ensure set up, maintenance & meeting deadlines (eg. Monthly Meetings input);
  • Provide (ad hoc) analyses & reporting for presentations & projects.

Collaboration & Communication
  • Collaborate & act as a liaison between key stakeholders for various projects & other timely deliverables (eg. Management Reporting);
  • Communication & consolidation of ad hoc input requests from MD/Central/Country;
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, internal staff & external customers.

  • Conduct research on the latest Business Development trends and improvements (websites, templates, tools, etc., both internal & external);
  • Challenge status quo if necessary & bring new ideas that can accelerate growth and/or more effective processes;
  • Become an expert on company Reporting environment & review possible usage of insightful, low maintenance reports to help drive consumer-focused decisions (ie. merchandise Reviews, Full Market views, etc.) in alignment with Company Strategy.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • University degree in Business Administration or equivalent in experience;
  • 2-4 years work experience in an equivalent position/business analyst in a sport, retail, consumer goods, or consultancy environment;
  • Experience in Project Management;
  • Experience related to FMCG business expansion, supply chain, and/or office openings in the MEA region are a plus (please mention/highlight such projects in your profile);
  • Superior MS-Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) skills;
  • A proven track record in delivering high-level strategic projects in a complex & international environment;
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to communicate thoughts clearly and with ease verbally and written;
  • Ability to apply strategic filters with regards to information and communication;
  • Very strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to deal with new and complex topics;
  • Results-oriented, structured, and not shying away from responsibility;
  • Excellent commercial understanding and awareness;
  • Team player, excellent in building strong relationships with other departments, divisions, and partners;
  • High standard of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality;
  • Ability to see the bigger picture.
