Job Title: Manager, HR Business Partner SW Brand & Tapestry Digital
Reports to: SVP Global Human Resources, SW & Tapestry Digital
Date: January 2022

Primary Purpose:
The Manager Human Resources is the strategic HR business partner for the SW brand & Tapestry Digital groups. They collaborate across the business to develop and implement high impact initiatives to build and nurture an inclusive, highly engaged culture where talent thrives. With a significant focus on talent management and organization effectiveness, the HR Manager is a key partner in supporting the growth of our people and our teams to enable business success.

As part of the global HQ team, the manager partners with the SVP HR to manage and facilitate global HR projects with our SW and TPR partners in Europe and APAC. They also represent SW and Tapestry Digital on global HR projects and companywide initiatives.

Culture & Organization Effectiveness

Partner with leaders to create a high level of employee engagement and satisfaction - making this a great place to work and grow, taking action against employee survey feedback while embedding purpose and values.

Champion EI&D; partner with Tapestry EI&D COE to develop group specific initiatives, communications, and actions to build and nurture a culture of inclusion.

Lead the SW Spotlight Squad - a cross-functional group accountable to drive culture initiatives focused on recognition, teambuilding, and social impact.

Work with leaders on organization design projects; utilize practices such as process mapping, RACI, role charters to support leaders and teams to clarify process, roles and accountabilities to enable team effectiveness and business success.

As advisor and partner, coach and council leaders on all aspects of team and people management using inquiry and business acumen to problem solve and diagnose areas of opportunity

Partner and facilitate expertise from Tapestry HR COE functions to drive People Strategy: Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Communications and Global People Svs & HRT

Partner closely with Legal, ER and People Partner team on all aspects of employee relations and compliance.

Influence and facilitate strong change management for organizational initiatives; providing effective planning, communication, and training to enable successful execution of change efforts; ensure actions and steps are in place to follow up, assess progress and continue to drive effective change.

Talent Management
-
Work with people managers to deliver an excellent employee experience and a meaningful career journey for every member of the team - onboarding, performance management, individual and team development, training and on the job learning.

Manage partnership with the Talent Acquisition team to communicate full-time and temporary recruitment needs, including organizational changes/context, job descriptions, and budget
-
Partner with leaders and people managers, the TA partners, and external partners to recruit and hire strong talent across all areas of the business.

Partner with leaders and people managers to drive annual Performance Management process from goal setting through year end reviews.
-
Facilitate Talent Review annually; partner with leadership to assess and calibrate talent, develop succession plans and create development plans to advance our top talent and create a strong talent bench.

Coach leaders in developing effective individual development plans to advance our top talent and create a talent bench, effectively utilizing Tapestry development programs for key talents
-
Develop, implement, and manage client group specific initiatives for talent development

Workforce Planning & Compensation
-
Manage quarterly compensation planning as part of QO process and annual LRP/AOP; oversee work of HR Associate to maintain data accuracy and that the compensation/headcount files meeting all Tapestry requirements. Partner closely with finance to co-own achievement of financial objectives.

Manage annual merit increase, stock equity and rewards planning & execution. Partner with leadership, people managers and Tapestry Compensation to meet all requirements and budgetary goals.

Prepare compensation analysis and proposals, consulting with Total Rewards as required.
-
Manage temp and freelance/IC requests, the compensation planning, compliance, and contracts. Liaise with Tapestry partners across TA and Legal. Manage accuracy of the temp tracker and budgets with the HR Associate.

Supervise HR Associate to process compensation related cost (sign-ones, one-time payments, confidential hire/exits, planned positions)

HR Administration & Compensation
-
Own the ongoing accuracy and integrity of employee data in PeopleHub system in partnership with Global People Services; continuously audit and work with HR Associate to maintain.
-
Create and maintain up to date organization charts for all groups in visio.
-
Together with HR Associate, liaise with hiring managers on all aspects of position management; facilitate job creation and administration, entering job requisitions in PeopleHub, managing job description creation; Partner with Tapestry People Service on position request and creation tracking
-
Supervise HR Associate to process mass people changes including promotions, supervisor updates, and data corrections.
-
Guide leaders, people managers, and employees to appropriate sources for queries and request (including the Loop, PeopleHub (HR System) and our contact center - Tapestry People Services).

The accomplished individual will possess...

5+ years of experience in HR generalist, HR business partner or talent management positions of increasing responsibility
-
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
-
Highly collaborative and excels at relationship building and all communication (written, verbal and non-verbal)
-
Experience partnering/working with people of all levels in an organization; Demonstrated ability to embrace difference and partner with others inclusively
-
Demonstrated business acumen and curiosity. A love of fashion, retail, and a passion for the consumer!

Demonstrated ability to develop plans to address key business issues, and utilizes plans to impact business and achieve desired results
-
The ability to handle multiple priorities at once with superior organizational skills, and be a fast learner who can navigate process and manage projects independently

Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment while being professionally assertive when appropriate

Strong analytic skills and attention to detail

Experienced with SAP-based HR System is a plus, not required

Proficient in MS office, specifically Excel - required
