Our Los Angeles office is found in the centre of downtown LA. Our office is in one of the city's tallest buildings with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the mountains and the Hollywood sign. Inside, the office is full of plants and beautiful furniture, with amenities and work areas that allow Farfetchers to design their day to be the best it can be. Some of the main teams located here include Operations, Customer Service and Production.


Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager, you will enhance the Farfetch customer experience for our most valuable clients through leadership of the North America Private Client department. The focus will be placed on growing the country's top clientele, engaging new clients and increasing brand desirability. Responsibilities include managing team members to achieve and exceed goals. We're looking for someone who enjoys being a people manager with past exposure to the world of luxury personal shopping or VIP sales. You have considerable team management experience (minimum 5 years), can manage sales turnover per annum and will demonstrate experience exceeding goals through your management skills.


    • You will work with the PC leadership team to establish vision and build regional and global strategy in Private Client
    • You will set and manage goals for a team of stylists and assistants, meeting with them to review performance against set goals
    • You will analyze sales reports, client books and client engagement/travel budgets
    • You will develop the team, providing guidance and direction to help improve their sales techniques and general client management
    • You will work on customer acquisition strategies and projects, using professional and personal networks
    • You will work with the Brand Marketing team on events, brand collaborations and partnerships to attract more top tier customers
    • You will support the customer service team to resolve customer issues
    • You will promote clienteling efforts that focus on growing and retaining our top clients
    • You will work with the global Merchandising team to ensure maximum knowledge of forthcoming stock availability for customer benefit
    • You will maintain general level of market competitor awareness on and off line through reference to other websites and editorial, and seasonal comparative shops
    • You will attend brand events to aid in the development of the business and act as a Farfetch brand ambassador
    • You will meet with brand and boutique partners to build relationship with Private Client in the US market
    • You will maintain basic team management standards with timekeeping, expense reporting, scheduling, and new hire training
    • You will conduct weekly individual meetings with direct reports and assist/host weekly all-team meetings for the North America market
    • You will participate and present during All Hands monthly meetings, North America manager meetings, internal gatherings and global gatherings
    • You will assist Director in annual PMP process


    • You are a manager with leadership experience in a relevant industry (fashion/luxury/ecommerce) and function (personal shopping/sales)
    • You have commercial awareness with history of exceeding goals
    • You excel in building relationships with customers
    • You have experience within or working knowledge of e-commerce retail
    • You have experience managing the business development process, as it pertains to sales executives and organizational/departmental goals
    • You are strategic, and the able to get a POV across through clear presentations
    • You are able and willing to travel when necessary
    • You are able to identify with Farfetch core values
