JOB PURPOSE

The Supply Planning Assistant role within Supply Chain Packaging supports the team in core responsibilities across packaging planning & reporting. This role will leverage data available centrally as well as coordinate with our regional and divisional partners to drive analysis which supports key business objectives & decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to SC Packaging team planners
  • Support the monthly replenishment production cycle with key packaging vendors
  • Track and measure key performance indicators on packaging production vendors
  • Actively monitor on-time delivery performance
  • Supervise suppliers' compliance to agreed production / delivery plans
  • Maintain monthly reporting suite for packaging planning
  • Reconcile safety stock (raw materials and finished goods) on monthly basis
  • Manage discontinued inventory
  • Support day-to-day packaging related matters with appropriate business partners
  • Key packaging contact for Burberry regional teams
  • Adhoc administrative activities which will support Packaging projects, programmes and initiatives throughout the business
  • Actively seek for opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain #L1-CA1


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Good understanding of Supply Chain & Retail operations desired
  • Excellent / advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Highly analytical, organised, and detail oriented
  • Driven and Ambitious, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fast study / quick learner
  • Problem solver, with an ability to drive results despite ambiguity and obstacles
  • Flexible, willing, and able to manage multiple and potentially competing priorities
  • Ability to provide both quantitative and qualitative analysis of data
  • A team player with the ability to develop strong relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with SAP / Business Objects would be advantageous
