TheTeam:

The Analytics & Business Intelligence (ABI) department is based in Amsterdam, with hubs in Moscow and Bangalore. We build end-to-end integration solutions between different source systems and platforms to optimize the strategic value of our data. Our department is organized in several domain oriented, multidisciplinary teams of developers, engineers, and business experts.

TheRole:

We are looking for anexperienced Scrum Master to guide and coach several of our teams, and a junior Scrum Master in Scrum ways of working and agile mindset.The Scrum Master will workcloselytogether with our coaches in the Agile Center of Excellence on building a high performingagiledomain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guidethe teams,stakeholders,and Product Owneronthe Scrum Framework.
  • Guidethe team on how to get the most outofself-organization.
  • Coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
  • Coach the team to continuously improve anddo sowith data.
  • Removeimpediments or guidethe team to remove impediments.
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasison learningand problem solving.
  • Facilitate effective internal and external communication and improve transparency within the team.
  • Help build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it.
  • Provideall support to the team using a servant leadership style and lead by example.

TheIdealCandidate:
  • At least first level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I).
  • 3-5Years of experience as a Scrum Master for a development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership,facilitation, situational awareness, conflictresolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Knowledge of Leantechniquessuch as kaizenand root cause analysis.
  • Experience with scaling techniques/dealing with dependencies between teams.
  • Knows how to advice team agile maturity with DATA
  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team is a plus.
  • Previousexperience in data/analytics teams is a plus.
