THE ROLE

New Guards Group is looking for a Marketing Manager, Sports to coordinate the development of long-term strategies as well as seasonal plans across the NGG brands. You will report to the Head of Marketing and build marketing plans, create communication briefs, and oversee all projects to guarantee brand awareness. Focusing on key business objectives and constantly seeking consumer insights, you will drive the execution of all marketing projects

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Manage the operational strategy including project plans, events and experience execution, budget management, registration, and logistics activities
    • Drive the sports marketing innovative message in the media through integrated communications around key global initiatives
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders, partners, agencies, consultants, athletes, and vendors to ensure best-in-class work is delivered consistently
    • Coordinate timely, high-quality delivery and execution of Marketing creative assets and deliverables.
    • Develop and maintain key documents including status, activation and creative briefs, sports marketing calendars, seeding files and recap documents, internal communications, competitive tracking, contracts etc.
    • Report and analyze the efficiency and success of marketing campaigns
    • Build, manage and reconcile budgets; including invoice processing and facilitation and support the team in daily operational tasks.


WHO YOU ARE

    • 5+years' experience in a similar role preferably in a sports brand
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to outline project plans and timelines to key constituents and drive successful delivery against goals
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive meaningful business results
    • Excellent communications skills both written and in delivering presentations
    • Good use and knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
    • Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the modern-day consumer
    • Great eye for detail, flexible with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Fluent in English written and spoken this will be tested in the interview process
