As a Senior Manager (w/m/d) in the Corporate Affairs department focussed on internal audiences, you will develop and deliver communication of direct relevance and impact to thousands of employees and of crucial importance for the company.

Reporting to the Team Lead Internal Communications, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization as well as colleagues from external media relations and other Central Functions. In particular, your passion and drive will support Zalando’s efforts around its ambitious Sustainability and Diversity & Inclusion plans. Collaborating with Sustainability and Diversity & Inclusion teams along with your departmental colleagues, you will help tell the company story in these areas, leveraging your experience and expertise to tell this story in new and engaging ways while remaining true to what makes Zalando special and successful.

  • Strategic planning and execution of multimedia communication campaigns (incld. events, video, etc.)
  • Be the Corporate Affairs point of contact for employee communications around Sustainability and Diversity & Inclusion topics.
  • Partnering with senior leaders from across the company, providing both strategic advice and close support with content such as speech and copy writing.
  • Collaborating with members from your immediate team and colleagues from the department and wider organisation on messaging campaigns that makes our corporate narrative engaging, efficient, and impactful for audiences across a range of channels and locations.
  • A proven track record in corporate communications and extensive experience in an international, fast-growing work environment
  • Familiarity with Sustainability and Diversity & Inclusion topics as well as customer-centric innovation and e-commerce.
  • Strong project management with a strong sense of ownership, responsibility and attention to detail.
  • The ability to translate complex content into simple messages according to target group.
  • A drive to experiment with multimedia and develop cutting-edge communication formats and comfort working with ambiguity and change in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • A talent for networking, listening and gathering information
  • Excellent written and oral language skills in English with additional strong ability in German preferred
