JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Department Manager to join our team in Heathrow on a fixed term basis for 1 year (maternity cover).

You will partner with your Terminal Manager in delivering exceptional client experiences, maintaining a productive and motivated team as well as driving profitability in your assigned category.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a high performing customer facing and service orientated team in order to achieve sales goals and KPIs
  • Sustain good levels of productivity and efficiency by predicting trends in your terminal and reacting accordingly
  • Maintain a strong sense of Well-being in order for your teams to thrive off
  • Manage the customer flow to ensure the best possible service and that no client is left unattended. Set the pace and standard to deliver excellent service to customers
  • Drive partnership on the selling floor between sales associates and operations team
  • Coach "in the moment" and after every transaction and client interaction, reach out to associates to talk through the successes and opportunities and ensure proper follow-through on follow up actions


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Previous experience driving a team/department's sales and profitability while maintaining exceptional client service standards
  • In-depth understanding of clients' expectations and what a luxury service entails
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and people management skills
  • Genuine interest and love for fashion and styling paired with excellent product knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of POS, store systems and comfortable using digital tools
