As Head of Product Marketing, you will guide product marketing managers and work with product, design, and marketing teams to develop more remarkable/marketable products. Building awareness and further adoption of product experience benefits to deepen customer relationships will be your key success metric.

  • Strategize. You will develop product value proposition and benefit narratives across markets, i.e. write high impact internal and consumer-facing materials to create best-in-class, differentiated value propositions and benefits for specific audiences. You will be accountable for reviewing product results to ensure continuous improvement
  • Develop and execute. You'll be accountable for comprehensive go-to-market strategies to launch new products. You will identify in-feature, cross-product, and cross-channel opportunities to inform product strategy and development and make benefit communication an integral part of the design process
  • Collaborate. You will collaborate closely with product marketers as well as the Content Design, and Design System team, Category, Regional, and Performance Marketing. Further, you will team up with product and marketing analytics to develop consumer growth KPIs, create product marketing assets considering local competition and value proposition (since convenience proposition is highly dependent on the market) with the goal to deepen loyalty with the Zalando experience brand overall
  • Product marketing experience on top of brand strategy/positioning expertise is essential (this is not a classic marketing role). You can show and explain creative, commercially-relevant work you have planned, led, and realised
  • Hands on experience developing and ensuring consistent usage of messaging, positioning, targeting and channel strategies.
  • You bring customers and stakeholders on a journey of increasing engagement by explaining a clear customer experience vision and telling compelling stories
  • Excellent command of English to write and review publish-ready consumer-facing marketing communication
