Our new office in Via Turati is a strategic hub, and home to all of the NGG staff functions. Turati is where the behind the scenes driving force of NGG is brought to life; this is harmonized with the archive exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the office

THE ROLE

New Guards Group is looking for a Communications Manager to join the Communications Team. You will report to the Communications Director and develop the global PR and Comms strategy to implement Worldwide brand communication and brand awareness activities to ensure optimal visibility across the NGG brands.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Build communication strategies to communicate the NGG brands message on a global scale
    • Lead and activate the WW media network, maintaining a diverse network of contacts of key players
    • Create and implement unique communication plans for product launches, store openings and new initiatives that capture both media interest and consumer attention
    • Develop a global strategy for feature stories, product placement, editorial reports in both traditional and non-traditional media
    • Manage relationships with external agencies
    • Organize and manage fashion shows and events
    • Manage all written communication such as press releases, biographies, website inserts, interviews etc
    • Oversee all press requests including gifting, trafficking, sample archiving
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams in supporting in house or outsourced social media content production
    • Work closely with the Communications Director on the PR budget


WHO YOU ARE

    • 5+ years experience in a similar role preferably in a fashion luxury company or press agency
    • Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, Communications or similar is preferred a masters is a plus
    • Established network of key industry players including but not limited to editors in magazines, VIPS, influencers etc
    • Proven experience creating, implementing, and executing successful PR campaigns at a local and global level
    • Excellent writing and editing skills
    • Excellent knowledge of cultural diversity with a deep understanding of the global market
    • Dynamic with excellent communication skills
    • Autonomous and able to work against strict deadlines
    • Creative perspective with innovative ideas
    • Problem solver with a great eye for detail
    • Organized and flexible with the ability to work in a fast paced ever changing international environment
    • Fluent in English both written and spoken, this will be tested in the interview process
