About the Role

The Head of E-Commerce, Franchise, Strategic Alliances & Licensing has a solid understanding of online business on a global scale and possesses strong influencing and collaborative skills as they interface with multiple Gap Inc. and Distribution business partners. Selected candidate should also have past experience conducting detailed market research and an overall track record developing, implementing and overseeing global expansion for international brands. The Head of E-Commerce will be the interface between Marketing, Brand Planning, Account Planning, Product and other Franchise Business Partners to ensure brand, product and commercial needs are fulfilled to the best in its class across multiple brands (Gap, Banana Republic, Athleta, Old Navy). The Head of E-Commerce will maximize revenue by analyzing sales data, reporting performance, identifying growth opportunities and resolving issues to drive topline growth and to execute against the commercial e-commerce plan.

What You'll Do

  • Develop e-commerce strategy to achieve strategic objectives and create strong annual business plans to deliver against the budgeted growth targets
  • Identify risk/opportunities to sales plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop action plans to achieve financial goals
  • Understand and communicate account's sales performance, online analytics, customer data and other KPIs to formulate actionable insights that actively drive online trade
  • Seek growth opportunities with new and existing Distribution Partners, including where applicable, negotiation of commercial terms and management of contract execution
  • Lead the implementation of new business models with Distribution Partners in order to achieve the brands' strategic initiatives
  • Project manage new site and brand launches as well as new season launches. Be the subject matter expert on e-commerce for the international FSAL division
  • Share results and best practice learnings with the wider cross functional organization

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 10+ years online trading experience, ideally in a fashion retail environment with a Pureplay/ marketplace organization; degree preferred
  • Grounded commercial experience within an account management capacity, coupled with an understanding of the inner workings of a P&L
  • Advanced data analytics, problem solving, process/project management and communication skills
  • Strategic awareness and thinking - develops new ideas, considers potential outcomes and develops action plans
  • Ability to persuade and influence - present facts, opinions and proposals persuasively to colleagues
  • A self-starter with a passion for achievement; integrity and drive with a strong desire to make things happen
  • Flexibility to attend late night/early morning global conference calls
