New Guards Group is looking for a Category and Consumer Analyst to join the Beauty Business Unit and through strategic reporting and analysis create commercial plans for the launch of all beauty products across the NGG brands. You will respond to the Senior Marketing Manager, Beauty and define all roll-in and roll-out strategies for the beauty collections.


    • Provide qualitative and quantitative consumer research to support the development of cross functional strategic initiatives
    • Create reports from key consumer and market insights and define strategies on how to ensure efficient consideration of the consumer in brand and category growth
    • Analyze the evolution of the market and competitors to identify the opportunity of new product launches and develop business strategy
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to update them on trends, competitors and marketing opportunities using insight deliveries to respond to category and brand priorities
    • Produce deliverables
    • Shopper trends analysis, new consumer trends
    • Communicate with the internal team and share information about the market, competition and their products supporting NEED&GAP assortment strategy
    • Create tool of analysis to support sales team in the implementation of category strategy and product distribution
    • Implement Reports on Trade Marketing activations identifying insights for growing strategy


    • 6+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury beauty brand
    • Fluent in English, written and spoken - this is mandatory and will be tested in the interview process
    • Proven expertise in the understanding of various quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
    • Analytical mindset
    • Ability to manage stress and pay close attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep to strict deadlines
    • Strong team player who is willing to work in a fast paced ever changing environment
