Job Summary:
  • This position is for Engineer 2 , Frontend, Mobile engineering who will help us design and develop omni channel digital solutions to support our customer facing mobile applications.
  • We are building a globally deployed digital platform for our customers using some best-in-class, frameworks, platforms / technologies such as AWS, Serverless computing, NodeJs, ReactJs, React Native, Javascript, Typescript and leverage several cloud native services and solutions.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ability to develop and deliver high quality end-to-end solutions in mobile engineering space. As a front end engineer you will have domain expertise in key areas but work fluidly across different programming languages and technologies
  • Develop and deploy solutions with a focus on end-user experience, accessibility, high availability, low latency and scalability.
  • Participate in design discussions and ensure designs are aligned with architecture and roadmap.
  • Deliver testable, maintainable, and high-quality code
  • Skilled ability to embrace continuous improvement
  • Ability to take on operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team
  • Work in an environment that supports your individual growth by providing you with results-oriented work and flexibility to acquire / learn new skills.


Required Abilities, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent. Masters degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience delivering highly available web/mobile applications. Prior experience in retail domain is a plus.
  • Good understanding and working experience of UI Libraries / Frameworks including React Native for Mobile apps, ReactJS for web applications, Consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL) development with NodeJS with Javascript/Typescript
  • Must possess strong knowledge of Caching frameworks, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems fundamentals.
  • Must possess strong communication skills.
  • Passionate about enabling next generation experiences.


Nice to have Abilities, Skills And Experience:
  • Experience with Swift or Objective C
  • Experience with backend API development using REST and GraphQL
  • Experience with AWS Serverless and Cloud native services with Lambda functions, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway etc..
