Zalando Direct is one of Zalando's most exciting business units as it is focused on building the Zalando marketplace, a key component of Zalando's Platform strategy.

The Partner Integration team, part of Zalando Direct Operations department, is responsible for technically onboarding all incoming brands onto the Zalando Platform. Fundamentally, the goal of Partner Integrations is to do this as quickly and efficiently as possible, without compromising on the brand journey. This critical phase of a brands journey sets the tone for the relationship and drives the brands success on the platform.

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the Integration funnel in the context of; operational output, forecasting, capacity planning and hiring.
  • Critically evaluate and challenge our operational processes, identify improvement areas, opportunities for increased automation and manage them through to implementation.
  • Collaborate effectively with main internal or external stakeholders (i.e. Product and Tech, Partner-facing support teams, Integrators/Syndication Software companies and Category Management).
  • Develop, improve, monitor and report on team wide KPIs.
  • Support direct reports to achieve the goals outlined in our operational plan with developing an inclusive positive atmosphere to work in.
  • You have 6 years of tech and/or e-commerce management experience in an operational/technical setting, with at least 2 years managing managers.
  • Strong sense of ownership that allows you to challenge the status quo, drive change and get things done.
  • Great leadership skills with a preferred focus on a Collaborative or Consultative management style.
  • Ability to solve complex situations, identify and remove bottlenecks, connect with relevant stakeholders, deal with uncertainty and guide multiple project owners at the same time.
  • Proven record of process improvement, implementation and operational success.
  • Understanding and practical experience with Lean Six Sigma.
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial attitude, taking responsibility for the success and performance of the processes under your responsibility.
  • Great coordination skills, attention to detail and high level of accuracy are essential.
  • Comfortable with numbers, you use data to identify root causes, understand problems and find solutions.
