About the Role

The Senior Account Manager has a solid understanding of business on a global scale and possesses strong influencing and collaborative skills as they interface with multiple Gap Inc. and Franchise business partners. Selected candidate should also have past experience conducting detailed market research and an overall track record developing, implementing and overseeing global expansion for international brands in the fashion industry. The Senior Account Manager will be the interface between Financial Planning, Account Planning, Marketing & Merchandising, and Planning & Allocation, to ensure brand, product and commercial needs are fulfilled to the "best in class" standard across multiple brands (Gap, Banana Republic, Athleta, Old Navy). The Senior Account Manager will be accountable for creating and leading multichannel strategies for the region, developing a robust real estate growth plan and ecommerce development. The Senior Manager will maximize revenues by analyzing sales data, reporting performance, identifying growth opportunities and resolving issues to drive topline growth and to execute against the commercial plan. Prior ecommerce experience preferred with strong product and inventory management business acumen a must to drive performance.

What You'll Do

  • Drive strategy in line with strategic objectives and develop strong annual business plans to deliver against the budgeted growth targets in the country
  • Identify risk/opportunities to sales plans and collaborate with cross functional teams in the US, Europe and Asia to develop action plans to achieve financial goals
  • Recap and review account's sales performance, online analytics, customer data and other KPIs to formulate actionable insights that actively drive trade
  • Balanced product, inventory strategy and commercial plan understanding to propel growth and profitability
  • Leads in developing market-specific sales channels & operations strategies, defining the roadmap for the partners
  • Reviews and presents real estate opportunities to deliver the partner strategies
  • Project manages new stores, websites and brand launches as well as new season launches
  • Conducts effective in-market visits (virtual and in-person) throughout assigned markets with key contacts in region


Who You Are

  • Minimum of 5 years trading experience in a global/ regional fashion retail, Degree preferred
  • Grounded commercial experience within an account management capacity, coupled with an understanding of the inner workings of a P&L
  • Advanced data analytics, problem solving, process/project management and communication skills
  • Strategic awareness and thinking - develops new ideas, considers potential outcomes and develops action plans
  • Persuasion and influence - able to present facts, opinions and proposals persuasively to colleagues
  • A passion for achievement; integrity and drive with a strong desire to make things happen
  • Travel to relevant market as needed, including weekend availability when required
  • Flexibility to attend late night/early morning global conference calls
  • Fluent in English and Hindu
